Many diners have a smash burger on the menu, but I find they often miss the mark. The Mansion Restaurant, however, delivers a comforting smash burger done right (and much more). Other diners: take note!
The Burger: Super Smash-Up Burger (Tier 3). A beefy double smash burger that's seared crispy and topped with American cheese, grilled onions, pickles, and secret sauce, served on a Martin’s potato roll. Combos come with their crispy dipper fries, dusted with either Nashville Hot, Salt & Pepper, or Nacho seasoning.
Pro Tip: Hotdogs and hamburgers. Order the American Beauty Combo which adds their crispy dipper fries with a grilled Boar’s Head skin on hot dog (also on a Martin’s roll). Only twenty bucks for all this! No one else in the city does it like this, the definition of comfort food menu item.
The Occasion & Vibe: At The Counter. They’ve been there since 1945 and they’ve struck the right balance with a modern, super clean feel that still represent the 1940’s. Counter, booth, table and outdoor seating options are available. It's a neighborhood favorite, especially around Halloween when the building and interior get decorated.
