If there's ever a good reason to brave the crowded chaos of Times Square, Le Rivage is it - a two-time NYCWFF Burger Bash winner serving up French bistro fare.
The Burger: French Onion Soup Burger (Tier 2). A tender medium-rare patty smothered in bechamel sauce, Emmental cheese, and caramelized onions between a toasted buttery Thomas’ English muffin. The onions are cooked to a stunning, deep, amber color, adding depth and sweetness to each bite. The textures play beautifully together, with the crispy English muffin giving way to the juicy patty, bold, pungent flavors, and a creamy richness that ties everything together. The fries are super crispy and flavorful. This is an all-time comfort meal.
Pro Tip: This is the perfect dining spot before a Broadway show. Steak frites are another must on the menu, topped with plenty of their luxurious “Café de Paris” butter.
The Occasion & Vibe: Date Night / Reservations recommended. A warm, inviting traditional French bistro setting with arched ceilings, classic French music, and vintage posters.
The Location: Hell’s Kitchen, 46th Street between 8th & 9th Avenues.
